Voting open for Cottage Grove Bike Park grant
Cottage Grove Minnesota 7584 80th Street South 55016

Polls are now open in the Bell Built Grant contest and the Cottage Grove Bike Park is in the running for a portion of a $100,000 grant.

If awarded, the grant would provide around $33,000 in design and build funding to complete a jump line and dirt plaza at the bike course at West Draw Park.

Chance Glasford, a Cottage Grove resident leading the project, said the jump line would offer riders of all skill levels and ages a progressing track to ride.

This is the second phase of construction on the park.

The grant will fund three mountain bike projects total, one in each region of the country. The Cottage Grove Bike Park is vying to be the winner in the central region.

Polls are open through May 4 and the winner will be chosen May 5.
