What started as 1.64 acres of weed and tree-choked land is now covered in lush green grass under mature trees. The park has a large play structure, pavillion and on-site restroom.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will include speakers, unveiling of the name plaque and refreshments. All businesses and volunteers that  built the park and donated money for its construction have been invited to the event.
