A Cottage Grove woman reported Aug. 19 that someone stole her iPhone while she was sleeping at a home in the 1500 block of Pullman Avenue.
A St. Paul Park man reported Aug. 19 that someone stole an old tire rim from his property in the 200 block of 11th Avenue.
A police officer on Aug. 20 found a vehicle that had been broken into in the 1100 block of First Street. The owner was contacted. A laptop computer valued at $600 and other items were reported stolen.
A St. Paul Park man reported Aug. 20 that three vehicles were rummaged through while parked in the 8000 block of Grey Cloud Island Drive. Gift cards were stolen from one vehicle while a screwdriver was taken from another. The gift cards were found in a neighbor’s driveway.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Aug. 20 that her vehicle had been rummaged through while parked in the 1200 block of Second Street. An empty purse was removed and later found at a neighbor’s residence. Shoes and a backpack were stolen.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Aug. 20 that vehicles had been rummaged through at her home in the 1200 block of Mullen Court. Sunglasses were stolen. There was no sign of forced entry to the two vehicles.
SuperAmerica, 545 Summit Ave., reported a $70 gas drive-off Aug. 20.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Aug. 20 that her vehicle was broken into and a pack of cigarettes was stolen while the vehicle was parked in a lot in the 300 block of Pullman Avenue.
A St. Paul Park man reported Aug. 24 that six decorative lights were stolen from his property in the 800 block of Fourth Street. Loss: $30.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Aug. 27 that someone broke into her vehicle and stole her purse, wallet and makeup ($140 total) in the 300 block of Pullman Avenue.
A St. Paul Park man reported Aug. 29 that someone stole a small motorbike from a home in the 1000 block of Summit Avenue and left a bicycle in its place. The motorbike was valued at $300.
A juvenile male reported Aug. 29 that his bike was stolen from outside Oltman Middle School, 1020 Third St. It was valued at $400.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Aug. 29 that her grandson’s bicycle ($200 value) was stolen from the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
A Minneapolis man reported Sept. 7 that his bottle of prescription medication was stolen from the glove box of a St. Paul Park woman’s car parked in the 1300 block of Portland Avenue.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Sept. 4 that her safe box had been broken into and her jewelry was stolen. A roommate later admitted to taking the jewelry to get cash to pay rent. Most of the jewelry was returned to the woman.
A Northfield, Minn., man reported Sept. 7 that someone stole items from his vehicle parked at 14th Avenue and Fifth Street, including a subwoofer valued at $400. There was a possible suspect.
A St. Paul Park woman told police Sept. 8 that a bottle of prescription medication was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of Ashland Avenue.
A St. Paul Park man told police Sept. 8 that he and his fiance rent the basement of a home in the 1600 block of Dayton Avenue, and whenever they leave the residence some of their possessions turn up missing. They said 40 to 60 DVDs and video game equipment has been stolen. They suspected another tenant of the home. The case is under investigation.
Police were called to a reported domestic incident Aug. 20 in the 700 block of Eighth Avenue. A man and woman said they had been arguing in an RV in the alley but it was not physical. Police told them that “arguing in a RV doesn’t muffle the noise.” They were separating for the day, according to the report.
Police were called to Willy’s Hidden Harbor, 388 Ninth Ave., on Aug. 25 for a domestic incident. A man and woman were having a “mutual intoxicated argument” over relationship issues, and they “admitted the alcohol was not helping the issues,” the report said. They slept in separate boats at the marina that night. No arrests were made.
Firefighters were called about 3:15 p.m. Sept. 2 to a brush fire on Aggregate Industries property on Grey Cloud Island Drive. The fire was extinguished with no reported injuries.
Firefighters were called shortly before noon Sept. 5 to a garage fire at 1466 Ashland Ave. The fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
A St. Paul Park woman reported Sept. 3 that her daughter was walking home from Pullman Elementary School when she was approached by an unknown man in a van who asked if she wanted a ride home. She declined and he drove away. Police had no contact with the man.
Three people were cited following a fight reportedly involving 20 teenagers and young adults shortly before 2 a.m. Aug. 27 at McCammon and Pullman avenues. Police arrived and cited a 21-year-old Cottage Grove man and a 20-year-old St. Paul man for disorderly conduct. The St. Paul man also was ticketed for underage alcohol consumption. A juvenile suspect whose age wasn’t released was cited for disorderly conduct.
The owner of Custom Web Site, 356 Ninth Ave., reported Aug. 20 that the business was burglarized. A window pane was knocked out of the front door and the office was rummaged through. Two laptop computers were stolen. Additionally, a rented studio area of the building was rummaged through, but nothing was reported stolen from that area.
