St. Paul Park police reports for Dec. 23: Assault, theft

Criminal activity reported in St. Paul Park:

Assault

A St. Paul Park man reported Nov. 1 that he was punched in the face by a female while at a home in the 1400 block of Grey Cloud Island Township. The female suspect left in a vehicle. There were no serious injuries.

Police were called Nov. 2 to a home in the 1200 block of Fourth Street for a reported domestic. An intoxicated woman who lives at the home got into a dispute with a South St. Paul woman. They were separated, and police drove the South St. Paul woman to her parents’ home in Cottage Grove for the night.

Criminal charges were planned against a 39-year-old Woodbury man who allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 1600 block of Pullman Avenue and stole her cellphone.

A 21-year-old St. Paul Park woman was arrested for two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault following a Nov. 3 incident at a home in the 1300 block of Portland Avenue. A St. Paul Park man was cited for underage consumption.

A 21-year-old St. Paul Park woman was arrested on suspicion of fifth-degree assault following a domestic incident Nov. 4 at a home in the 300 block of Portland Avenue.

Jason P. Filas, 36, of St. Paul Park, was arrested on Nov. 10 on suspicion of gross-misdemeanor interfering with a 911 call during a domestic incident involving his wife in their home in the 1000 block of Dayton Avenue. Filas allegedly grabbed the phone from his wife as she called 911. They had been arguing, according to the report. He was booked into the Washington County jail.

Theft

A St. Paul Park woman reported Nov. 3 that someone broke into a vehicle in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue and stole a GPS device, DVDs, a cellphone charger and money.
