St. Paul Park police reports for Aug. 28
A Newport man was arrested June 27 on suspicion of fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine and for an outstanding warrant, after he was approached by police at 1:30 a.m. June 27 in the 600 block of Third Street. The suspect dropped a pipe and a bag of methamphetamine while talking to the officer, according to the report.
A St. Paul Park woman called police June 30 to report that someone stole a bike from a home in the 1700 block of 14th Avenue.
SuperAmerica, 545 Summit Ave., reported July 2 that a St. Paul Park woman stole items from the store. The woman was cited for theft.
A Cottage Grove woman reported July 6 that a backpack and purse containing cash were stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Pullman Avenue.
SuperAmerica, 545 Summit Ave., reported a gas drive-off July 12. The store reported another drive-off for $45 on July 13.
A 46-year-old St. Paul Park man was transported to a detox facility in Hastings after police found him riding his bicycle while very intoxicated at about 1:20 a.m. July 5 at Third Street and Seventh Avenue. He refused to identify himself and was cited for obstructing the legal process. He also was ticketed for riding at night without a headlight.
