Park dance team Applebee’s fundraiser

Visit Applebee’s to support the Park Wolfpack dance team on Wednesday, March 5. Go to http://bit.ly/Wolfpack_Applebees to print a flyer, then bring the flyer to Applebee’s and the restaurant will donate 15 percent of the bill to the Wolfpack dance team.

2014 East Ridge High School spring sports registration

East Ridge High School’s spring sports online registration is open. Athletes interested in joining a Minnesota State High School League spring sport at East Ridge can go to the East Ridge website to register. On the ERHS home page under ‘Hot Topics’, click on the ‘2014 Spring Sports Registration’ link for instructions and requirements for registration. After reading the instructions, click on the link to register. Please be sure to register by the deadline date which is listed for each sport on the instruction page. Please note that athletes must have a Sports Qualifying Physical Examination form completed by a physician on file at East Ridge High School at the time of registration. Questions about pre-season meetings, captain’s practices, equipment, booster clubs, etc., should be directed to the head coach.

Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride registration open now

The Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride will be returning to Washington County on Sunday, April 27, following a record-breaking year in 2013. Rider registration is open now at www.ironmanbikeride.org. A $10 discount for Early Bird registration is available through Feb. 28. The Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride is open to riders of all ages and abilities. Routes have been designed in roughly 15, 30, 60 and 100-mile increments to provide options for all cyclists. The Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride is the longest running organized bicycle ride in Minnesota and runs through the scenic St. Croix River Valley. Cost is $30 for Early Bird registration, $40 from March 1 to April 14 and $15 for youths 18 and under. Teams of eight or more earn a $5 discount per rider. The Minnesota Ironman Bicycle Ride has hosted over 100,000 cyclists in their 47-year history.

East Ridge track and field captains’ practice

Anyone interested in running track and field for East Ridge High School this spring? Start training at captains’ practice held every day after school from 3:30-5 p.m. on the indoor track at East Ridge.

East Ridge soccer club spring season starts soon

Looking for a competitive soccer team to join for the 2014 spring/summer season? The East Ridge Soccer Club is excited for the spring/summer season to start and have openings on some of its competitive teams. Please contact erscregistrar@gmail.com if you are interested in joining us or for more information. Spring/summer fees are $335 per player for U9-U10 and $350 for U11 – U18. There is a one-time registration fee of $40. The season runs end of April thru July and includes winter training which has just started.
