Sport shack holiday sale

Due to the temporary closing of the Sport Shack, located at Bielenberg Sports Center, the Woodbury Sports Foundation will hold their Holiday Sale at the Woodbury Athletic Association Building, 2630 Ojibway, on Saturday, Dec. 14 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the warehouse. This is your chance to purchase quality East Ridge and Woodbury high school apparel. They will be selling sweatshirts, fleece, sweatpants, mittens, t-shirts, hockey hoods, 1/4 zips and much more. They also carry youth sizes. Spirit wear make great gifts for grandparents too.

ERAA softball to elect board positions

East Ridge Athletic Association softball is holding elections for board officers at its annual open meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The meeting will take place from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the East Ridge High School Media Center South. First on the agenda will be voting on the open board positions, followed by the general meeting. The open board positions include: Softball Director, Competitive Director, Recreational Director, Treasurer and Secretary. Hamline University baseball camp starts Jan. 11

Hamline University is hosting a six week baseball camp starting Jan. 11. Hamline head coach Jim Weyandt will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to six players per coach. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Proceeds from the program will benefit amateur baseball in the St. Paul area. Space is limited. Registration is now under way. For more information, visit
