The video received a Bronze Telly award in the category of TV Programs, Segments or Promotional Pieces—Use of Humor. It competed with nearly 12,000 entries.

The video, created by lead producer Ann Simpson with additional camera work by producer Justin Atkinson, is a 38-second promo in which several city staff members, officials and their families check out the new splash pad at Highlands Park. As kids arrive ready to enjoy the new amenity they discover the adults are already splashing around and having so much fun they forgot to change out of business clothes.

“At SWCTC we look for unique and interesting ways to highlight the south Washington County area, Simpson said. “We were surprised at how many city officials and staff members were willing to dance around in the splash pad to help us create the promo. This video was a lot of fun to shoot and edit.”
