South Washington County School Board to discuss levy options July 8
The South Washington County School Board will hold a special meeting next week to discuss possible referendum ballot measures for this fall’s election.
The board is considering renewing property tax levies set to expire over the next two years and also is weighing whether to ask district voters for more money to fund capital projects or even land acquisition for future school construction.
The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the District Service Center in Cottage Grove.
Board members are expected to make a decision on what they will put before voters in the November election when they meet Tuesday, July 16. That regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The meetings are open to the public.
