School District 833 principals have agreed to a new contract.
The district reached agreement with its principals on a two-year deal, good through June 2015, that includes small pay increases and some insurance premium increases.
The contract includes step increases in both years and a 2.25 percent salary increase in the second year. Each principal also receives a $1,500 payment for the first year of the contract.
As part of the agreement, principals and the district will work to develop recommendations for “leadership compensation pay” for the next two-year contract.
School Board members approved the contract April 10. The union had signed off on it March 31.
