The Cottage Grove Hockey Association’s mite program hosted its annual hockey fest fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena. With players from the Park boys hockey team lending a hand at the free all-day event, every CGHA mite team, comprised of boys and girls ages 4-8, took the ice to play a handful of games. Nordy, the Minnesota Wild mascot, was on hand and the day was full of other activities like a bounce house, Chuck-a-Puck, Zamboni rides, games, free face painting, special food options and a silent auction. Money raised goes toward the CGHA mite program.
