Raptors girls golf team secures conference tourney win

The Raptors girls golf team edged Cretin-Derham Hall by two shots to take first in the Suburban East Conference tournament last week.


East Ridge shot a 347 in its first-place round Thursday, May 22, at the par-72 Oak Glen Golf Club in Stillwater. Cretin-Derham Hall finished with a 349, while Woodbury shot a 360 for third place.

Senior Andriel Aimua led the Raptors with a low score of 82. Jaedyn Walz finished the round at 87.  Molly Richardson shot an 88. Taylor Anderson carded a 90.

The Raptors will tee off in Section 3AAA competition beginning Friday, May 30, at Bunker Hills Golf Course.
