Police brief: Cottage Grove theft suspect claims guilt brought him back to store
Cottage Grove Minnesota 7584 80th Street South 55016

A Cottage Grove man told police it was a guilty conscience that brought him back to the scene of a crime.

The man, who was witnessed stealing headphones and a cellphone charger April 16 from the Woodbury Walmart, was confronted by store security outside the store. He claimed at the time that he didn't know what the worker was talking about and left.
