The Wolfpack lost to the Royals 56-45 Friday, Dec. 17, in a Suburban East Conference match-up at Woodbury.

Woodbury (4-1; 3-0 SEC) built a first-half lead, going up by 12 at one point before Park narrowed the Royals' lead to 26-21 at the half. The Wolfpack (3-4; 1-2 SEC) opened the second half strong and pulled to within three at 36-33, but the Royals held on for the conference victory.


Freshman forward Sydney Lamberty led the way for Park in the loss with a game-high 22 points. Sophomore guard Larissa Lurken added 11 points.

Senior forward Michelle Young had a team-high 17 points for Woodbury and sophomore guard Kristina White chipped in 13 points for the Royals.
