The Park boys hockey team continued its strong play in non-conference games this season with a 5-2 win over non-conference foe Eastview on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in Apple Valley.

The Wolfpack is now 5-1-1 in non-conference play and 0-9-1 in the Suburban East Conference this season.

In the game, Park (5-10-2; 0-9-1 SEC) erased a 1-0 deficit with five-straight goals capped by senior captain Jordan Jeske's goal which gave the Wolfpack a 5-1 lead 56 seconds into the third period.

After Eastview (5-11-1) scored 2:55 into the game, Park netted two goals in the first period, two goals in the second period and one goal in the third period.

Park senior Trevor Keys scored two goals and Park junior Joey Pierre had a goal and two assists to lead the way for the Wolfpack. Additionally, Jeske had a goal and an assist, Spencer Diedrich scored one goal, Cody Newton had two assists and senior goalie Jeremy Harer made 18 saves for the Wolfpack.

On a sour note, Park lost its leading scorer, senior captain Kirby Quebodeaux, for the season with a broken collarbone. Quebodeaux, who had an assist in the game, lead the Wolfpack with 27 points in 17 games played on the year.

Next, Park plays host to SEC-leading White Bear Lake (11-4-1; 9-0-1 SEC) on Thursday, Jan. 27, at Cottage Grove Ice Arena.
