Woodbury High School placed second.

The two will be among four schools who compete in the Section 3AA finals Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Tartan High School in Oakdale. The winner goes to the state festival Feb. 13-14 at St. Catherine University's O'Shaughnessy Auditorium.

Each one-act play must be under 35 minutes long. Each is judged on physical and vocal characterizations, educational value, technical elements and the overall effectiveness of the ensemble.

“The Curate Shakespeare As You Like It” chronicles one man’s attempt to stage the classic Shakespeare comedy in spite of his cast’s inexperience, egos and personal problems.

The cast includes Park High School students Justin Hiemstra, Leah Haliburton, Michaela Silvis, Tory Lowry, Jr., Mitchell Jensen, Nicholas Zamora, Molly Moran, Nathaniel L. Jensen, Ben Jemie, Brian Kuhns and Natalie Johnson.

Co-directors are Steve Estenson and Denise Atkinson.
