Newport: Draft Storm Water Management Plan

NOTICE OF HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Newport will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. Local Time, in the Newport City Council Chambers, 596 7th Avenue; Newport, MN 55055. The purpose of the Public Hearing will be to consider the Draft Storm Water Management Plan for the North Ravine Drainage Area using "Green Infrastructure" funding, and to receive public opinion on the Plan and to discuss establishing a Storm Water Utility as per MS 444.16.
Pertinent information is on file at the City Offices. Interested parties are encouraged to submit oral or written comments any time prior to the hearing, or at the Public Hearing.
