Masons fire up griddles for breakfast
Spectators waiting for the Heritage Days parade to begin are invited to have pancakes for breakfast at Newport Masonic Lodge 118, corner of Broadway and Summit avenues, St. Paul Park.
Pancakes, any-style eggs, and link sausages will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Lodge. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for children, ages 6 to 12. Children, under 6 eat free.
The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Heritage Park, will travel north on Summit Avenue and turn left at Broadway Avenue.
