Newport Elementary School Building Coordinator Donna Romaniski said her new boss is "very energetic," and the new principal, Aaron Krueger, agrees.

"I like to get things done," he said.

Krueger, who was an assistant principal at St. Francis Elementary School in St. Francis, Minn., said he is impressed with the district and the principals he has met.

He has also met parents who have stopped by the school and the school's booth at Pioneer Day.
