Eight-month-old Claire Olson was dressed in red to see Santa Claus. Not old enough to tell Santa what she wants for Christmas, her parents will show her their picture of her with Santa when she's older. Bulletin photo by Judy Spooner2 / 3
Damen Steele wore a Santa hat for his visit with Santa. He was excited to see him but couldn't remember what he wants for Christmas. When asked, he said he didn't know. Santa told him he has a "whole warehouse of 'I don't knows.'" Bulletin photo by Judy Spooner3 / 3

More than 700 people attended the annual Breakfast with Santa event on Sunday morning. Hosted by the Cottage Grove Lions Club, the event is held at Cottage Grove VFW Post 8752.

Children were not "all snug in the beds," but dressed up, with an occasional Santa hat, to see the Jolly Old Elf.
