Garden club plants new Cottage Grove City Hall garden

After several cloudy, rainy days, sunshine and warm weather made planting the Cottage Grove garden that much brighter.

The Pineridge Garden Club has planted the city's garden annually for the last 25 years but members shared their excitement last week about planting the garden in front of the new City Hall on Ravine Parkway.

"It's a fun experience because we get to start from scratch this year," garden club member Claudia Glass said. "It's a whole new concept."
