Sleet wasn't the only thing that slowed Cottage Grove drivers down Thursday afternoon.

A one-vehicle accident on northbound Highway 61 at Jamaica Avenue blocked the left lane for about 30 minutes. The driver of a blue Honda side-swiped a concrete median shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3.

Cottage Grove police and a community service officers arrived on scene to find the driver uninjured, Police Capt. Pete Koerner said. The cause of the crash is unknown.

The State Patrol also responded and is handling the incident.
