The CGAA provides spring and summer baseball for Cottage Grove youth. Its in-house programs start at age 4 and go up to 12 with four levels of play -- Tee Ball, Pitchball, Pee Wees and Minors.

In Pee Wees, 9- and 10-year-olds, are introduced to kids pitching to kids. It brings into the game the aspect of balls and strikes as well as walks. In Minors, 11- and 12-year-olds take part in their final in-house stage of baseball training. It continues by adding the concept of stolen bases. After Minors, players tryout for traveling baseball teams.
