A Cottage Grove student's work will be on a children's TV show this weekend.

Crestview Elementary School student Samantha Field's written submission called "Eat Healthy" will be featured on KSTC-TV's Green Screen Adventures at 7 a.m. Saturday, March 9. The show is on Me-TV, which is available on Channel 5.3.

"We applaud young students who express their feelings and explore their creativity through their writing," Susan Wenz, KSTC station manager, said in a statement, "and we applaud Green Screen Adventures for bringing these stories to life on screen."

Green Screen Adventures, a nationally award-winning children's television show, selects writing and illustrations by students and brings them to life using story theatre, game shows and puppetry.
