Cottage Grove splash pad additions increase contract amount

The construction contract the city of Cottage Grove has with Stantec Consulting Services for the Highlands Park splash pad was amended last week.

The City Council approved a $6,600 upgrade to the facility, which included adding sod areas and grading, installing microfiber to the pad concrete and changing out two catch basin castings to improve safety near the splash pad.

The addition amended the contract from $465,881 to a revised amount of $472,511.
