Cottage Grove police reports for June 6: Theft, property damage, assault, disorderly conduct
A Cottage Grove woman reported May 22 someone stole an iPod Touch from a bag in her vehicle parked in the 7300 block of Imperial Avenue.
A Cottage Grove resident reported May 17 that someone threw a rock through the front window of the residence in the 8500 block of Grospoint Avenue. Damage: $400.
Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church, 8600 90th St., reported damage to a shed on May 18. Damage: $15.
A Cottage Grove resident reported May 22 that someone broke the front window of a home in the 9300 block of Hale Avenue, possibly with a firework.
Police were called to American Motorsports Bar and Grill, 7240 East Point Douglas Road, shortly before 2 a.m. May 19 for a reported assault. There were people trying to get into a limousine they were not supposed to be in, and they were arguing with the driver. They left. No arrests were made.
A 16-year-old Cottage Grove male was apprehended after he reportedly pushed his mother, causing her to fall and hit her head, during a domestic incident May 19 at a home in the 7700 block of Hinton Avenue. The teen was transported to the Washington County juvenile detention center on suspicion of fifth-degree domestic assault.
An 18-year-old Newport woman was cited for disorderly conduct and not having a driver's license in possession after she tried to flee Park High School on May 22. The woman is a student at the school. She was being disorderly in the school and then left. Police stopped her in her vehicle.
