A summary of criminal activity reported in Cottage Grove:
SuperAmerica, 7033 Jorgensen Lane, reported a $38 gas drive-off on May 9.
A Cottage Grove man reported May 11 that someone stole two tires from the bed of his truck, and there was damage to the truck, in the 8600 block of Jorgensen Avenue. The stolen tires were valued at $200. The damage was estimated at $200.
A Cottage Grove man reported May 11 that $800 worth of tools were stolen from a parking garage in the 7700 block of Hearthside Avenue.
Police received a report May 12 from a man who said his cellphone was stolen while he was eating at Taco Bell, 8623 East Point Douglas Road. The phone ($400) was on a table.
Park High School, 8040 80th St., reported May 12 that an electronic balancer and two bottles of chemicals were stolen from the school.
Target, 8655 East Point Douglas Road, reported a shoplifting incident May 14. A vacuum valued at $499 was stolen. It’s under investigation.
An adult female staying at the Wakota Inn and Suites, 7125 80th St., reported May 15 that a check card was missing from her room.
Rogers Auto and Truck, 10870 Ideal Ave., reported a theft May 14. Keys were stolen from the customer drop-box.
Police received a report May 16 of copper stolen from a sprinkler system in the 8700 block of East Point Douglas Road. Loss: $100.
A 55-year-old man, who has no permanent address, was cited for theft May 17 at Walgreen’s, 7135 East Point Douglas Road.
Walgreen’s, 7135 East Point Douglas Road, reported May 17 that a male suspect left the store without paying for three Sony electronic docking stations and a Sony speaker. Total loss: $364.
