Indecent exposure

Police were called to McDonald’s, 7355 East Point Douglas Road, on an indecent exposure complaint about 2:20 a.m. June 28. A nude male ran through the drive-thru throwing ice cream at the restaurant window, according to the police report. The male got into a vehicle and left before police arrived.

Tampering

Police were called June 27 to American Motorsports Bar and Grill, 7240 East Point Douglas Road, on a report of a male suspect trying to break into a vehicle. Police checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

A Cottage Grove resident reported June 28 that a vehicle was rummaged through in the 7600 block of 11th Street. Nothing was stolen.

Theft

A Cottage Grove woman reported June 27 that two unlocked vehicles were broken into in the 7600 block of 113th Street. A GPS device and radar detector ($285 total) were stolen.

BP gas station, 8490 East Point Douglas Road, reported two gas drive-offs — $55 and $68 — within minutes of each other on June 27. Both vehicles had altered license plate numbers. One vehicle was later found by Bloomington police, but the suspects were not located.

Target, 8655 East Point Douglas Road, reported a theft June 27. A 16-year-old Cottage Grove female and a 16-year-old St. Paul Park male were referred to the Youth Service Bureau for shoplifting.

A Cottage Grove man reported June 27 that two vehicles were entered in the 7700 block of 113th Street. Miscellaneous items valued at $180 were stolen.

Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road, reported a theft June 28. Merchandise valued at $229 was stolen, but the suspect could not be located.

Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road, reported a possible theft of CDs on June 28, but the theft could not be substantiated.

Walgreens, 7135 East Point Douglas Road, reported a theft on June 28. There was no arrest but the case is still open.

An 18-year-old Hudson, Wis., woman was cited for shoplifting June 29 at Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road.

A 20-year-old Woodbury man was cited for shoplifting June 29 at Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road.

A Cottage Grove woman reported June 30 that a package was supposed to be delivered to her Ingleside Avenue home but she never received it.

A 23-year-old St. Paul Park man was cited for shoplifting June 20 at Walmart, 9300 East Point Douglas Road.

Drugs

A 23-year-old Cottage Grove man was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana after police saw him walking with a marijuana cigarette tucked behind his ear June 27 at 79th Street and Hemingway Avenue.
