At its Oct. 19 meeting, the St. Paul Park City Council approved a Request for Proposal for a city engineer. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 23.

McCombs Frank Roos Associates, Inc. (MFRA), based in Plymouth, has served as the city engineer since 1984, Mayor John Hunziker said. "We really want to take a look at what's out there."

Council member Jeff Swenson said some cities change engineers every few years.
