Notice of Public Hearing to Review Alleged Legal Non-compliance of Off-Sale Liquor License Holder in the City of Newport, Minnesota
Notice is hereby given that the Newport City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter, in the City Council Chambers at Newport City Hall, 596 7th Avenue, Newport, MN, for the purpose of taking testimony and reviewing allegations of legal non-compliance of the terms and legal requirement of a certain Off-Sale Liquor License first issued by the City on June 20, 2013 to Newport Liquor, located at 1638 Hastings Avenue.
Pursuant to law, after the above-noticed hearing, the Council make take action, either immediately or at such time, in its own discretion, as may be appropriate, that can include revocation of the license or other sanctions that it may find appropriate under the circumstances made clear on the record.
All persons wishing to be heard regarding this matter should contact the City Administrator, Ms. Deb Hill at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.
