NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that the Newport Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, in the City Hall Council Chambers at the Newport City Hall, 596 7th Ave., Newport, MN, to consider an application from AccessAbility Options Inc, 8362 Tamarack Village #119, Woodbury, MN 55119, for approval of a Variance. The request is for property located at 627 6th Avenue, Newport, MN 55055. The Variance would allow a handicap-accessible ramp to be built within three (3) feet of the side property line.

The Planning Request is governed under Chapter 13, Section 1310.11, Subdivision 1 of the City Code of Ordinance.
Information on this Application can be reviewed at the Newport City Hall. The purpose of this hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the project either at, or in writing prior to, the Public Hearing.
