Honest-1's Henkel recognized
Jim Henkel of Honest-1 Auto Care in Cottage Grove won his sixth-straight company award of Region Developer of the Year.
In receiving the 2013 award, Henkel was recognized for opening four locations of the national auto repair chain, selling two franchise agreements, transferring an agreement and conducting field and classroom training.
Henkel was honored during Honest-1's annual conference in Carefree, Ariz.
"Not only were we excited to host our network of hard-working and exceptional franchisees and regional developers, but the chance to recognize individuals for their successes with these awards was really special," said Rissy Sutherland, chief operating officer of Honest-1 Auto Care. "The individuals honored with these awards are what make Honest-1 Auto Care the ambitious and growing brand that it is today."
Youth Service Bureau earns seal
The Youth Service Bureau, with offices in Cottage Grove, Woodbury and Stillwater, has been certified in accountability and awarded the Charities Review Council "Meets All Standards" Seal.
The certification and seal indicate that YSB meets all 27 of the council's accountability standards. Nonprofit organizations such as YSB earn the seal by voluntarily participating in the council's online Accountability Wizard, which assesses a nonprofit's performance in four critical areas: public disclosure, governance, financial activity and fundraising.
