Bulletin letter to the editor: Water safety important but often overlooked
Water safety important but often overlooked
Growing up near the municipal pool off of Granada Avenue, I learned to swim and interacted with swimming instructor role models and friends.
Since then, I have had the confidence of being involved with scuba diving and have been comfortable in the water.
The drownings in waters around the state are a total travesty, but without the availability to gain knowledge and training in regard to physical water structure and its dangers, I would keep an upper edge on the possibility of an unfortunate outcome.
Also, what are these kids doing when they are not in the pool?
