Adou, Kemper end service on District 833 School Board
South Washington County School Board members David Kemper and Marsha Adou attended their final board meeting Thursday, Dec. 19, before their terms expire at the end of the year.
Adou did not seek another term and Kemper lost a re-election bid. Kemper thanked voters for the opportunity to serve on the board and said the district is headed in the right direction under the leadership of Superintendent Keith Jacobus.
Adou said the district has taken “huge steps forward” and has grown considerably during her 28 years of involvement in the school system. “We are a school district of four communities and I hope we continue to be proud of each of these but see our district as a whole,” she said.
Kemper and Adou received plaques for their service.
