2013 Year in Review: Sikich says ‘it’s time’

Longtime Park gymnastics coach Mark Sikich said goodbye to coaching this past year – his 31st overall.

“I’m just all torn up about it,” Sikich said at the time. “Part of me definitely wants to still be involved. But, when your body is telling you it’s time it probably should be. One thing I never want to do with our girls is to short them at all as far as my energy level and ability to coach with high spirits, high energy and high motivation.”
