NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
Notice is hereby given that the Newport Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 6:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter, in the City Hall Council Chambers at the Newport City Hall, 596 7th Ave., Newport, MN, to consider an application from Thomas Long, 6939 Lamar Avenue, Cottage Grove, MN 55016 for a Conditional Use Permit for 2204 Hastings Avenue. The request is for a conditional use permit to allow for a vehicle sales business.

The Planning Request is governed under Chapter 13, Section 1310.10, Conditional Use Permit of the City Code of Ordinance.
Information on this Application can be reviewed at the Newport City Hall. The purpose of this hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the project either at, or in writing prior to, the Public Hearing.
