A 13-year-old boy is treated by paramedics after he was struck by a car while riding a skateboard across 70th Street in Cottage Grove. Police said the driver had the green light and the boy crossed at a red light. The collision happened about 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The boy suffered hip injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, police said. (Bulletin photo by Scott Wente) play button
