The Cottage Grove Crime Prevention Board’s second annual Halloween barbecue fundraiser will take place after the city’s Monster Bash Halloween parade, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at Bonngard’s Meats, at 70th Street and County Road 19, in Cottage Grove. For $6 visitors will receive a brat, hot dog or hamburger along with chips, a beverage and a scoop of Culver’s frozen custard. Presale tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Bonngard’s or by calling Cottage Grove Police Officer Gail Griffith at 651-458-6025 or any Crime Board member. Raffle tickets—for a variety of prizes—will be available for $2 each, three for $5 or six for $10.
