A Touch of Home, a mission of Crossroads Church in Woodbury, is hosting a brat fest from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Von Hanson’s Meat Market, 9030 Inwood Ave., in Cottage Grove. Proceeds from the event will help buy supplies sent to troops overseas. The group has been sending care boxes since March 2003. Volunteers will be selling brats, hot dogs, hamburger, cheeseburgers and pulled pork, as well as pop and water. Tables and chairs will be available for visitors as well as albums of letters, cards and photographs mailed from military personnel thanking the group for the supplies. The next packing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Crossroads Church, 5900 Woodbury Drive, in Woodbury.
