Carter Bannwarth, 15, of Woodbury will perform at Carnegie Hall April 30 as a member of the Camp Broadway Kids Ensemble. The East Ridge High School freshman will join 60 other kids from across the country who successfully auditioned for the performing arts day camp, which takes place over three days in New York City. The Cottage Grove under-12 C1 team reached the state tournament at the highest level and finished 1-1 in group competition at state. After winning its league title the team was allowed to throw a pie in their coaches' faces. Team members are: Tina Press, Eleasha Mckenzie, Lindsay Stehr, Alena Abrahamson, Alivia Kons, Molly Wenner, Carley Haus, Maddie Niewind, Michon Vogelgesang, Taylor Johnson, Allie Bednarek and Jenna Glass.
